The Little Witch is going to be at the Port Cafe for a super special "Dinner & A Medium" Night. A unique experience and a night of curious fun for the Cafe patrons. The Port Cafe, located on Georgian Bay in Port McNicoll, contacted Lori-Grace to do this special evening after searching for local Psychics on Google. They were requesting a "Theresa Caputo" style event, and The Little Witch agreed that it would be a perfect time to do it! The date was set for September 25, 2022, and sold out by word of mouth in two days. All the tickets are sold, but there is another evening in the works already, as the Port Cafe has been getting consistent phone calls asking if tickets are still available for the event. Both Port Cafe and The Little Witch will have information about the next event on their Facebook pages. The space is perfect for this event, as it's intimate enough that everyone will be able to see and hear the Psychic Medium clearly, but the small diner has enough room for the Psychic reader to pace around the room and see everyone clearly to deliver the spirit messages. It's also small enough that anyone should be able to record their readings on their devices. LorLori Grace has some very specific ways she does Medium work, so that she doesn't feel like she's cheating, and so the clients attending the dinner event also feel they are getting a true medium experience. A copy of the "how to prepare for a medium reading" is hanging on the Port cafe cork board for all to read before the event, and was also posted on Lori-Grace's facebook page.
Lori-Grace lives in the small town of Midland, on beautiful Georgian Bay. Known locally as "The Little Witch,", she has also been Nicknamed "The Mother of Witches" due to her mentorship of young and new folks on their witchcraft journey, that attend or take her classes at the School of Witchery. And also for all the young and new folks through the years that she's councelled and guided with her Spirit Guided Tarot Readings. Lori-Grace has 27+ years of experience serving the Town of Midland with Spirit Guided Tarot readings, Psychic Medium readings, and teaching classes to curious folks. If you are curious about having Lori-Grace attend your event, for this sort of Medium and Dinner event, you can contact her here using the form on this blog. Where oh Where has The Little Witch been?
Well, I had my turn with THAT VIRUS that everyone is bored of hearing about. Although today, at this time, I'm still coughing and wheezing and doing a lot of annoying throat clearing, apparently I'm not contagious anymore... so... While I was 'down with the sickness', the appointments kept rolling in and I had to do a lot of "Can we do this later?" email chats. Now, I'm playing catch up. Last week I had a bunch of corporate and college events that had to be completed, using Zoom, and this week I'm rebooking the folks who booked during the week that I was sick. We're closing in on being able to meet without so many restrictions, but as I am hosted mainly at Wand n Cauldron in Midland for readings, we'll be going by the shop rules. I'm still only doing medium readings over Zoom at this time. the Wand n Cauldron always has I am also starting to book summer parties already! We are planning to do the readings out of doors at this point, but sitting outside in summer sounds JUST FINE to me, while the snow is floating around out there. If you are going to be visiting the Midland area and want to have me come and read Spirit Guided Tarot at your party, event or cottage, NOW is the time to secure your weekend! (I know it sounds early, but summer weekends always book up so quickly.) So, although I've been hiding out a bit because I was ill, I'm back to work just in time for spring break, march break, and better weather! In person Spirit Guided Tarot readings with Lori-Grace, The Little Witch, over winter!
It feels so very strange and wonderful to think about being able to sit in person with folks this winter. The in person readings will continue to happen at Wand n Cauldron on Manly street in Midland Ontario, during the regular hours in the metaphysical shop. The shop is always cozy warm in winter. Right now, they are open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from noon till 6 until Yule / Christmas. After that, the hours may change. For the most part, I'm doing readings by appointment only. If you happen to come in and I'm already doing readings, you can inquire about a 'by chance' appointment for that day. But, it's so much better to book the appointment ahead of time, so that you have time to prepare for the advice. Prepping your questions, having them written down, and having time to meditate on what is really important to ask makes the reading so much better. Also, having the time to make sure that you know how to record the reading on your phone gives a wholeness to the reading experience. Being able to access the words and messages a few days after the in person sit down adds a completeness to all that you've been guided to learn and repeats the tasks the cards and spirit guides may have for you to carry out. Here are my current fees for both In-Person Tarot, and Zoom Tarot: Psychic Tarot Readings Available in Midland Ontario: In Person Half hour Spirit Guide/Tarot reading: $60 One hour Spirit Guide/Tarot Reading: $100 Online Over Zoom Video: Half hour Spirit Guide/Tarot Reading: $50 One hour Spirit Guide/Tarot Reading: $80 In person appointments still need to be arranged by email. (The option to self book on Lori-Grace's appointment calendar won't show sit down readings as an option.) This is so we can correspond one on one about times available and also how to prepare. The weather can be unpredictable in Midland and Georgian Bay in winter (no matter what the weather forecast or the satellite weather says! Georgian Bay tends to do what she wants.) I have many clients that come from Barrie Ontario, Orillia Ontario, and Wasaga Beach and Collingwood. So, if the weather ends up being too stormy or snowy to drive in to your tarot appointment near me, it can be possible for us to connect over Zoom instead. These plans to cancel, reschedule, or do the reading over Zoom will be communicated before 10am on the day of your appointment, and Lori-Grace will connect with you over email all the details of special weather plans. As of this time of writing, we still have to wear masks and show proof of double vaccination in order to sit in person. If these restrictions change, we'll let you know in our correspondence in setting up appointments what will be expected. Medium readings are still only happening over Zoom right now. The way Medium readings work for me require a quiet atmosphere, and there's SO much going on at Wand n Cauldron! When doing the in person Spirit Guided tarot at the Pagan / Witch store, I still get very loud Spirit messages. (I have all the clairs in use when using the cards, and get messages from your Spirit Guides for you during a read.) To enquire about booking your in person reading this winter, you can use the form on the home page to connect, or email The Little Witch here. I feel like I've been hibernating over the winter holiday. Here it is, January 2, and there's a new fire lit under me.
Interesting what tapping into the energies around us can do. I personally don't get excited for "new year", although I do get excited for new schedulers, date books, and calendars. The New Year isn't on my list of celebrations. No incense gets lit for new years eve or day. But, because so many others are filled with celebrations and optimism, I like to tap into THAT energy, and add it to what I've got going on. Today, I had a Zoom Tarot Party. The bookings are starting to come in, and I've tapped into the New Year Energy and excitement to kick my butt out of hibernation mode and into "be a strong and present tarot reader" mode. Ive got my new Monthly planner calendar with all the things I'll share through the month. My new coil book scheduler, which helps me stay on track not only with business, but with all the other tasks and hobbies I have. And, I have SO MANY STICKERS - haaaaa. I do love stickers.
If I'm NOT online, but you are ready NOW, as a new user you can take advantage of this 10 minute offer, with a reader who is available right now:
It's not often these days that I use Keen for phone readings. When I'm available, you'll see the button above say so. If I'm on a reading, it will put you next in line to speak to me.
I do quite a few Instant Messaging readings, because sometimes the neighbourhood is noisy! When I was co-renting Three Crows Speak Art gallery space, I would have the IM on anytime there wasn't someone in the Orillia Gallery. But the phone readings have fallen to the wayside. This is mostly because I've discovered that I really like the face to face interaction of Zoom readings! However, I know not everyone has internet or wifi where they are, and so I still have my phone account set up. It feels like an old school throw back to my Miss Cleo days. With the phone tarot readings, you can't see that I'm shuffling, or when I'm closing my eyes, or making the little hand signal that I do by habit, to indicate that I'm getting spirit guide messages for you. But trust me, it's happening. When I'm reading for you on the phone, I'm sitting in my quiet office completely focused on your voice in my one ear, and what spirit whispers in the other. Sometimes I'm sitting at the laptop desk that I have set up to do my psychic and tarot business, and other times I'm sitting on the daybed, with the cards all spread out in front of me, and my cell phone in my lap. If you are ready and prefer a phone reading, rather than a Zoom reading, the preparation for your call is still the same. I've created a "How to Word Your Question Well" note, so that you will be best prepared and make the most of your time with me. When it comes to phone readings, it's important to understand that the rate noted on that page is in US dollars. You are in control of what you spend, but I usually recommend that you allow 10 to 15 minutes per question, to really feel out and understand what Spirit is trying to say to you about your topic. Keen keeps all your information private - I won't see your phone number, or any of your personal details. If you don't want to set a name to your account, it will keep what I see as a "Client number", and so that allows you to remain anonymous also. When I first started doing psychic tarot for clients on the phone, it was through the Miss Cleo lines. Remember those? It was 1999, and I was brand new at reading for others. It was busy! Several years after that, I worked as a contractor for California Psychics. I treated it like a job, logging in for 3 hours a day, keeping track of my calls so I knew what my average call was - because at that time , the readers had to maintain an average of 20 minute phone calls. It was a challenge though, as they would have free minute promos, and people would routinely call, use those 3 minutes, and not pay for more ... so it would bring down the average call time, and bump the reader to the bottom of the call list. Feeling like I HAD to keep clients on longer felt NOT right to me. If I had delivered the answer to their question in 10 minutes, that should have been the end of the call. I discovered Keen in 2002. A Middle man type site, where I could create my own listings, work when I wanted to, without having to maintain a weekly hour commitment, or an average phone call time. This felt much better. And still gave me all the benefits that I was looking for with a phone line. And it continues to feel better using it. Those early days on the phone lines where I worked as a contractor were so stressful. In my professional tarot practice now, I absolutely cannot read for clients if I'm stressed - how am I supposed to deliver news of calm and clarity to clients, if I'm stressed out about keeping them on the phone? I basically log in to be available for phone readings when I have no other appointments, meetings or classes... and when I feel compelled to log in randomly (which honestly usually happens when the Universe "pings" me, that I am required to assist someone THERE.) When I am doing IM Readings, I'm sitting at my desk, with the cards out on the table, just like when I do the Friday Funday readings. I type between 65 and 90ish words a minute, so the pauses will happen in IM readings when I"m shuffling, or forming how to word the messages for you. Reading Tarot long distance is very similar to the idea of remote viewing, or distance reiki. We are all connected, and when we ask Spirit or Source to connect us, it does so instantaneously. I've been doing these remote readings a LONG time, and I find it easy to connect this way. It's finally here! Keeping Her Keys, An Introduction to Hekate's Modern Witchcraft. It took 7 weeks to arrive which felt like an eternity, but Gods will work in their own good time.
When poking around to find out about the book, I discovered that the author, Cyndi Brannen is from Nova Scotia (Canada) and that made my heart sing! I've got a bit of an obsession with Nova Scotia, and getting back there, and this was just another a-ha connection for me. The book is set up in lesson plans, to take you through a year and a day of study. This pleases me greatly. To commit to a practice takes time, and I tend to chew through books pretty quickly. This book is forcing me to take my time, and keep notes. I got the Hekate nudge in winter, during the deep dark "Is it ever going to end?" days of February. I was doing a lot of writing, and a lot of study. When I came across this book in my news feed at Facebook, it felt like the right time to open up to this energy. And already, she's been chatty with me, and I take that as affirmation of my continual path. I feel like this also corresponds with my move into Orillia with tarot readings. Having a permanent tarot office type space there is a big commitment on my part, and I feel like the deepening of my practice with my path is connected to this, too. (I am using an art studio on Peter Street South to do readings in, by appointment only.) Last night was the full moon, and it really does feel like "full speed ahead" in my magical life. It helps that we're having summer weather now, too, I suppose, but I'm grabbing the energy of the summer/full moon/tarot/Welcome Hekate vibe and dancing vigourously with it. I imagine the knowledge from this course is going to also spill out into the energy work that I do, the kitchen witchery, and the garden-love that all weaves within my practice. Part of the course is to keep a note book solely for the purpose of recording exercises and experiences associated with the year and a day Keeping Her Keys course. I expect to see much overlap with all the other aspects of my life, as this encourages witchcraft in every day life. If you have done this study course, I'd love to hear about your experiences in the comments section! Blessed Day! Did you see The Little Witch walking around the Midland Ontario Butter Tart Festival? She was wearing a tall black hat, and carrying a black lacy parasol. That was me!
I was giving away little gifts to people downtown at the Butter Tart Festival on Saturday. They were post cards with a ballot for a free draw that Wand n Cauldron was doing for the day. Attached to the little post cards that had directions on the for getting to the shop on Manly Street was a little key chain with a semi precious stone attached, that Melissa from Wand n Cauldron had made herself. The Festival itself felt much more organized this year. There were still a tonne of people there, but it seemed like the layout used this year left more room to move and get around. It was also great to see all of the local stores having tables and tents out to promote their stores too! (unfortunately my office is just off the beaten track, and was hiding behind a bunch of sod they had laid out on Elizabeth Street for a golfing game that looked like it was for kids. My office is a few buildings behind the Midland Public Library, and there was also a bunch of porta potty's down that strip too, so there really was no point sitting in my office at all. ) Although the most popular tart vendors sold out around noon, there were still lots of butter tarts available to be had. I bought mine at Grounded Coffee Co a little later in the day (sometime after having my lunch on the grass at Midland waterfront. ) Strolling up and down King Street on Saturday was pleasant. I had no where else I had to be and no time frame to adhere to. I got to have a bunch of conversations with strangers and friends on the day of the festival. (Mostly about the tag on my witch hat, and my parasol!) It was so much fun to help out a friend promote her new business. Funnily enough, I didn't hand out any of my own business cards. Between dragging the cart around that had my water bottle, purse, camera and puppets in, it just seemed too complicated to get any thing else done other than hand out the little flyers. (yes, I am also a puppeteer. I make videos and post them on youtube with my puppets, although it was difficult at the Butter Tart Festival to pull them out and get any decent footage...) Did you see me on that day, and take any photos with me? It was such a crazy day that I didn't even get any info from anyone that had a photo taken with me, but I'd love to see them! Connect with me and I can even post them here if you are willing to share! I'm already excited for next year. Lori-Grace. Wand n Cauldron is an authentic shop for witches. The Little Witch specializes in Tarot Readings in the Midland Ontario office space, and on the phone for long distance clients. Looking for a phone number for Lori-Grace, The Little Witch? There's a reason I don't have a phone number as a contact for booking appointments!
All of my clients either come from Google searches, referrals, or in person events. When someone who wants a reading finds me on Google, it generally means they have the means to connect with me online, through email. This also means they can access my appointment calendar to see when I'm available and book the appointment themselves. If someone looking for a psychic reading meets me at an event in the local area of Midland, we can often set the date in person right away, allowing me to give them the info on how to prepare for their reading and how to find my office. For those who are looking to inquire about booking a party, using the form on my website is still the best way to do that. When I connect with someone through email, it allows me to be ready - date book out with the available times. If someone calls me and I pick it up in the middle of dinner prep, I'm bound to over book myself! I do have a number available for those who want readings over the phone, locally or long distance. But that number is only active if I'm logged on to take calls - it doesn't take messages or allow you to book in person readings, or cancel an appointment. It is unconventional for a business to NOT have a phone number available for connecting, but because of the nature of my business, and my world wide reach with advertising, a number that was available all the time would be ringing constantly! I really prefer to allot certain times of days and certain days of the week for working, instead of having a phone ringing at all hours of the night, often times with questions people want answered ASAP. You can always connect with me through the form on the main page of my website Or through email, or Click to book your own in person reading in Midland Ontario. If you were looking for an in person, over the phone reading, we can arrange that through Keen! I volunteered to read tarot cards for a ladies night with the Midland Ontario Rotary. All the proceeds go to the Rotary, from the readings that were done. My table was in the Art Gallery at the Midland Cultural Centre, with a number of other Vendors. I got to choose where my table would be set up. When I saw Tiny Gems vendor table, I knew I had to be near them! They've got good vibes. I volunteer with this Ladies Night event every year, and in past years I've read up to 15 people in the evening, small 10 or 15 readings. We've now evolved into doing 30 minute readings for fewer clients, which is amazing. I truly prefer to spend more time with the clients one on one. The day after the Rotary night at the MCC, I did the first sit in Guest Tarot Reader spot at Wand N Cauldron in Midland. I was so excited! And, the readings were so good! The space is so comfortable, and the store always feels so good to be in. Also, it just happened that Melissa ("This Witch") had just got a shipment of the BEST incense in, and hung out in the store. In Wand and Cauldron's little reading room, the readings came easy! She's got a beautiful cozy tarot reader nook behind some curtains, with a little round table set up, that she had specially made for the space, and a special Gypsy Den looking light that hangs from a chain. Her shop is close enough to downtown in Midland, that the shop stayed just busy enough all day. It was perfect for the meet and greet with people I've never met before! So, the end of the story in the video really is, I"m no longer a waitress. It's time to focus on my tarot life. Everything is pointing towards it. Springwater Tarot Horoscope for Nov 29th to Dec 13th. Aries (March 21-April 19) – Justice – It's important for Aries to take a good hard look at all the evidence before deciding what is right - And that every story has two sides. Think before you speak on these sort of matters. Everyone gets what they deserve, one way or another. Taurus (April 20-May 20) – The Sun – Honesty is the best policy. Figure out how to speak your truth and practice those words before presenting them. Does it feel like truth on your tongue? Do this, and the truth, in turn, is revealed to you. Gemini (May 21-June 20) – Prince of Pentacles – Embrace the offer of commitment, stability, foundation. And know that, yes, even when you don't know all the answers or exactly where the steps are leading, that you are on the right path. Don't allow doubts to set you astray. Cancer (June 21-July 22) – 2 of Wands - Pay attention to "Right time, Right place" synchronicity moments that happen during this time. Even if what comes of these situations doesn't feel like it was on your list, be aware that the Universe is trying to create balance and open some doors for you. Leo (July 23-August 22) – Seven of Swords – Gather the FACTS, and make your lists or build your case. And, no, made up scenarios in your head do NOT count as weigh-able, measurable facts. Virgo (August 23-September 22) – The Magician – Have some feelings of uncertainty surfaced? Be confident in your skills and all that you've learned, and get started. Libra (September 23-October 22) – Strength – Take a deep breath, and feel your inner strength. Let it be firm without being aggressive. Let it be backed by the knowledge of who you really are and all you've accomplished. Don't worry about proving it to anyone. Simply wear it easily and with confidence. This gets you through the next few weeks. Scorpio (October 23-November 21) – The Tower – If it feels like it's all falling apart, spend some time meditating on the ways this time can be used to positively set you on a path that feels even better for you. It may look like chaos now, but creation can only come after the movement of chaos. You'll land, like you always do, better than before Sagittarius (November 22-December 21) – The High Priest – Quiet reflection on how you can or do create balance in your life, between earthly pursuits and spiritual beliefs will help you to be a fair and just decision maker during this time. Remember to consider both your heart space and your head, and hold your ground gently but firmly. Capricorn (December 22-January 19) – 5 of Cups – It's okay to spend some time feeling remorse or mourning what you think you've lost or left behind. When you wipe your eyes and clear your head, you'll see that there's time and space for new pursuits or ways to fill that emotional space that has meaning for you. Aquarius (January 20 to February 18) – 6 of Pentacles – If you see an opportunity to be generous (in word, in spirit, with time or with abundance.) know that these acts are good for everyone, if they are given with the intention and energy of joy, and accepted with appreciation. Mind your energy boundaries and only give from a place of feeling good. Pisces ( February 19 to March 20) – Ace of Wands – Energetic new beginnings are on offer, even though the year is wrapping itself up. Find a comfort zone in the speed and direction in which this time is leading you. If you stay in the flow, even when the water gets hot, you'll be on your way to letting go and getting on with it.
