I know I'm late to the party, but I've finally gotten on Tik Tok, and surprisingly, it's keeping me very consistent with my Tarot Card of the Day posts.
After I post it there, I share it to my other socials (Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube.) So, if you're not on TikTok, you're not going to miss out on it.

I've been doing my best to keep it to 3 minute long videos or less, and I've been recording them first thing in the morning. (like, FIRST THING. Eye bags and pajama shirt and all.)

There are a LOT of folks reading tarot cards there who are able to go LIVE to do readings... I'm working on that! A TikToker has to have 1000 followers in order to go live there, and I'm hoping my consistency gets me there.

I'm also finding that I'm posting fun short videos there, that I never considered at IG or FB. Those platforms just don't seem to bring that out of me. What happens when you scour the internet for the perfect trending earrings, that are also witchy and graceful to wear with any outfit, but can't find them?

Well, a witch creates them.
And then, creates more for her witchy friends.

I was looking for freshwater pearl earrings, as they are going to be trending for 2025. I wanted mine together with semi precious stones that would mirror my magickal intentions for the day. I wanted something that would be pretty but also understated. So, I could hide my witchery if I wanted to, and wear them "dressed down" as well as dressed up.

They also are on either Sterling Silver plated earrings, or 18Kt Gold Plated earrings. So they are easy on the ears, and affordable.

I started with labradorites and moonstone, as these are my favourite witchy stones to wear. Almost all of my rings that I wear while doing magickal work are labradorite in silver, and I have one very special moonstone ring that I feel works very well with labradorite. I wanted something to wear out when I can't necessarily wear my rings.

And then went on to make some for Valentines with Red Jasper, Shell hearts for love work, hemitite for protection and grounding.

Knowing the way I feel these stones work for me so well in my witchy life, and wanted to share that with folks who are ready to connect.

I also made some fun ones with reconstituted skull beads, for those of us who love putting their witchyness out in the world! (They are also excellent vessels to take your servitors out with you when you travel.)

All the earrings are made with witchy intention, by an authentic witch, in quiet meditation at the workbench. The energy of these items are renewed every full moon, and new moon! They will arrive to you with an amazing vibe and energy.

It's that time of year! For the Year Wheel Tarot Reading Special.

Between December 22 and January 4, I offer a 20 minute year wheel reading over Zoom. It gives you a month to month look at what to expect in the coming year. You decide if this will be an in general style reading, or if it will be laser focused on a specific topic in your life. Fun!

It's always nice to have a heads up for the year ahead, and while we are setting our intentions for our best next year. 2025 feels SO different than years passed for me, and if you are feeling extra energy but aren't really sure why or where to go with it, this can be an excellent helper for you in your " Quest 2025 " plans.

Although I do offer this style of reading all year 'round, this is the only time of year I offer them at this special price. And honestly, even though my aim is to do this in 20 minutes, my experience with them is that our chat around the topic or revealings will probably put us closer to a 30 minute reading anyway. I really do love these style of reads, and I love the questions and discussions that can follow with them!

These readings must be booked through me (email inquiry, or social messaging.) and MUST be completed by January 4th, 2025. When you inquire, I'll let you know what dates and times I have available for you, ranging from 10am EST to 6pm EST.

An extra bonus for you is that we can record the zoom meeting, so you can refer back to it all year to see where you are on your forecasted path.

Gift Certificates can also be used towards these special readings, so if you receive a certificate or give one at Christmas, this is like an EXTRA bonus for folks who are ready to get their readings done.

For the Month of December 2024, (only until the 24th of December)  The Little Witch will be participating in a group Pop-Up Shop in Midland Ontario. It's an extra shopping outlet with some creative and "out of the box" options for your Christmas shopping list, helping you shop  local and stay in town.

The shop is opening at 292 King Street in downtown Midland (formerly W & Y Boutique, the shop is located next door to Zanca Restaurant, and across the road from Scotia Bank.)

The stores that will be on display for shopping are: Primal Paw, a pet store out of Penetanguishene, and Hock Stars will be represented at this Pop Up, which cuts down on travelling outside of Midland for creative options. There will also be a jewellery and gift shop business there with a nice selection of items for Christmas Gifts.

Lori-Grace will have a separate space for one on one readings inside this special Christmas store during the December event, and will be offering half hour Spirit Guided Tarot, as well as one hour long sessions, coaching and mentorship sessions.

Gift Certificates for email readings, in person or Zoom readings, and classes and coaching will also be  available at the King Street location.

Lori-Grace has several days a week that she will be available, and although there will be some "by chance" availability, and pre set appointment is recommended.

In general. the times and dates Lori-Grace will have available to book an appointments for most of the month of December is:
Mondays: 2pm to 5pm
Wednesdays: 11am to 5pm
Thursdays: 2pm to 5pm
Fridays: 11am to 5pm
Saturdays: 11am to 4pm
Sunday: 11am to 4pm

The shop itself will have longer hours, and will be open until at least 5pm every day.

Folks are encouraged to record their readings on their own device to refer back to again and again. This will also come in handy for folks who are getting a "year ahead" forecast style reading.

Well, gang, I think it's finally time.
I'm 6 months into 50, and I think I'm beginning the transition to "Crone."

We had spent the summer months moving and very stressed over it. That in itself created a change in my sleep patterns and my thought patterns. I really wasn't feeling like myself, but reasoned that having to move after being in that house for 20 years was BOUND to cause some dissonance in the song of my life. 

My natural cycle remained the same in terms of timing, (For 22 years, it's been very predictable and consistent.) but there was a slight change at the beginning of September that repeated itself at the beginning of October. I also had Covid at the beginning of October that coincided, but honestly, I was feeling like a person in denial. 

During my week off with Covid, I took the time to have my OWN reading with a woman whose wisdom I respect very much. She was already started with her metaphysical journey before I was born! She spoke about the transition into Crone, and it made some things make sense for me.

So, I've wrapped my head around embracing this moment. It really is a "Death" tarot card moment, where I spent those months feeling like a cocoon of liquid, when I look back on it. To live through the transition of the Death card through the perimenopause experience is a privilege.

This is a Witchy and womanly right of passage, after all.

I have been studying for my "Practical Herbalist" diploma for a year and a half, and I'm armed with a LOT of information on how to gracefully ease through the transition from Mother to Crone. Yes, it will take a bit of time to create new habits - Changing diet slightly, where and when to add the new herb helpers, finding a new rhythm with my yoga and weight lifting practice (because I want to be a healthy Crone. hehe.)

But there's time and space for it now, and the realization that THAT'S what this extra time NOT being a full-time mother is FOR.

My great grandmother (who came through in my own reading SO loudly,) was a woman who presented gracefully in her habit and presentation, and I'm feeling drawn to her as an archetype to look forward to becoming with a certain eagerness, instead of trepidation.

There is SO much magick in this time, for me. This is how I'm now choosing to experience perimenopause. The dreams are vivid, the meditations are deep and profound, and now that I'm focused on what's happening to me and for me, the manifestations are powerful.

The other things that are lining up along side of this are now feeling obviously on-time - The move into a new place, having to do the witchy work of bonding with a new environment outside and setting up a new circle to practice in, setting up a new Witchy room, the new witchy kitchen with room for herbal apothecary work... That it's OCTOBER and spooky season, and all the psychic messages come so loudly to me at this time.

It feels very much like a graduation of sorts for me. Huzzah! You've successfully finished the High School "Mother" part of your schooling! Crone time is like College!

(As I type this, I'm realizing that so many of my dreams in the last 2 weeks have featured me being in high school again, or having to take exams, and wondering what I'll do when school is over! Huh. Can't wait to write THAT "Aha" into my Book of Shadows later....)

I suppose then, I'm a Young Crone, or a Junior Crone. This feels like a time to review and organize my wisdom, and even experience what is new within it for me. The last few weeks have ABSOLUTELY been filled with Aha and Eureka moments.

Dear Universe: I am so grateful for the opportunity to experience this transition, from this vantage point. I am so grateful for the herbal medicines that are helping me pay attention to my body and care for my body and mind during this time. I am eager to share the wisdom and knowings that come of this.

After 29 years in business, I actually got a phone number for my business. Let me explain.

I never wanted a phone number, and set my business up so that everyone needed to connect with me over email. It allowed me to collect and respond to messages about tarot readings on my own time. No interruptions during dinner, while sleeping, when I'm not in work mode.

I figured out how to set up a number for myself so that folks who don't have access to email can connect with me. But you HAVE to know that I screening all the calls. I'm still picking them up when I am in work mode. One of the challenges is not being able to hear the phone numbers clearly, due to static or background noise with the caller.

As you can imagine, it's taking me a little while to get used to this new system. And at this point, during the moving process, I KNOW I've missed some calls. (My deepest apologies.) My voicemail only keeps the messages for 3 days! During moving, I know that some calls came in that I didn't get to before the messages were erased. Ugh.

This new number is a forwarding number, that goes direct to voicemail, and I'm only just now getting in the groove of picking up the messages. New Habits! The other challenge is when to call back! My "admin" times are from 5am to 7am - WAY too early to return phone calls. The other times I have are around 3pm to 6pm, but lately I've been booked with readings during that time.

I'm working on GETTING BETTER with this. Thanks for your patience.

It's time to book your Hallowe'en or Spooky Season Tarot Party with The Little Witch!

There are several event times available, and you'll notice this year there are some public events that anyone can come for readings at, included on the calendar.

For Tarot Parties in your home, cottage, or Airbnb: Between 3 and 6 people will receive a full half hour reading, that you are encouraged to record on your phone to refer back to again and again. If you'll have more than 6 folks at your home party, the times will be adjusted for each person to fit into the four hour window.

There are evening times available during the weekdays (Monday to Thursday) not shown here, but as most people want weekend party dates for their witchy samhain or halloween parties, that's what has been focused on in the poster calendar.

There are also of course, several times available for in person, or Zoom, one-on-one readings through the month of October.

For the Event at Bear Pen Flower Farm: Connect with Kimberley of Bear Pen Flower Farm in Coldwater to book your individual appointment time for a 15 minute tarot reading in the unique and spooky shop! Spaces will be limited.
Kimberley is also going to have several other things for you to do as part of the Witches Night Out event, on October 17th.

It's the day before the Coldwater Witches Walk, and an excellent warm up if you're going to the event on the 18th (or, if the Witches Walk is too cold for you, the event at Bear Pen is a perfect alternative. It's a nice temperature, you'll be surrounded by other witchy folks who are eager to make connection while you participate in all the creative events Kimberley has planned!)

For the Event at the Georgian Bay Native Friendship Centre: The Little Witch will have a walk-up table and will be doing quick readings on a "tip what you can" basis, on the evening of Friday October 25. It's an all ages event, and there will be lots of fun things to do at the Centre. Connect with the GBNFC for more details on how to participate in this Halloween celebration.

Although Lori-Grace is based in the Midland Ontario area, travelling to parties a little further away is possible. The available times might change, depending on the distance from Midland area.

Book A Tarot Reading with The Little Witch

Be sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment! If you know you'll be in the Midland area, for an event such as one of the many festivals Midland hosts, or you'll be staying at an Airbnb, book your Tarot reading as soon as you can.

I've been studying to become a practical herbalist in Canada - Did you know there is NO standard minimum education you need to have in Canada to be a herbalist?

However, this course I've been taking has been showing me how to do it RIGHT, how to understand what you can and cannot say as a herbalist, how to understand so many Canadian and international herbs, how to support yourself and your family with herbs, and create salves, tinctures or medicine.

This course is even  sharing business info in regards to how to set up a herbalist business that suits your goals, if that's what you want to do.

What I LOVE about this Canadian Herbal College:
