 It's feeling like time to WAKE UP.
Wake up from our Winter Slumber, wake up and look into the fog. To look into the fog is to really have a GOOD LOOK at what has been alluding you, what has been playing around the edges but not letting you get a grasp of it. I've realized that what I am very good at connecting folks to Spirit (by what ever word you call it - The Universe, Spirit Guides, Ancestors, Angels, etc) by revealing the down-to-earth steps from where you are NOW, to where you want to be. Somehow in my years of doing this Witchy dance, I've figured out how to break it down. Having a chat about where you are is where we start. If what you are looking to connect to are your own witchy mysteries, witchcraft practices, or connecting with your own abilities, then we'll discuss your studies and practices so far, and then as you tell me what it is you are aiming for, my own Guides and intuition drops the answers into the convo. If what you are looking for is clarity in your personal life, apart from witchcraft studies, it works very similarly with readings in how the messages come in for me, but you don't have to tell me the whole story, just the core of the situation or the most important question. I let the Spirits do most of the talking for those sessions, but the process is still a very down to earth, get you from A to B path. Having a mentor or guide to help you get through your spiritual growth challenges or blockages is not taking the mystery out of witchcraft, or Spirit Guides, or "The Mysteries." It's more like... taking your hand to lead you through your own fog, to get you to the opening where you are able to see and understand your own mysteries. No matter where you are in your own studies, your own understandings, your own spiritual or witchcraft practice, I am a mentor that can help you through the next steps or the current challenges. I attended the Women's Wellness & Self Care Expo in Midland Ontario as a vendor, and it was a great show! This was the first show that I had attended in the last 3 years, and I was so pleased with the energy that all the folks who came through the doors brought. Everyone was happy to be out, playful, curious - the exact type of folks that I love to work with in my business. It was held upstairs at the Sports and Rec Centre in Midland, a nice big and bright space. For this event, I went into it just thinking "I want to have fun, and offer fun today." and that's exactly what the Universe offered. Normally, I would have offered one on one readings, but instead I created a different offer. I filled a plastic halloween cauldron with plain white envelopes stuffed with individual tarot cards, and had folks pic a card from the cauldron. I had set up a paper that explained to folks how to play along, and that it was by TIP - Something I've NEVER done before in an event like this! The tip cauldron (yes, I do love the Witchy stuff.) is a ceramic cauldron, and folks were dropping coins in there all day. It was hilarious to hear the clink clink clink all day. Although lots of folks stuffed $5 dollar bills in there, too. I did not stop readings from 10am till about 2:30pm... and that was a pause just long enough to stuff some food in my mouth, and then I did several more readings. The show was supposed to be done at 3pm, but I didn't start breaking down my table till about 3:20pm, as a handful of vendors came over after the show was done to get their OWN reading. (That's always fun when that happens.) I did a raffle for a Tarot Card from one of my discarded decks (The Druid Craft Tarot - I go through this deck, as I use it as a work horse. I've worked through 3 of them, and I need to buy a 4th really soon.) And, did a draw for a free email reading from my newsletter. The day was a huge success. I was so pleased with how the table looked, how it felt to dance behind the table for so many hours (although the next day I was FEELING IT. haha.) and the energy of the room felt so good, too. The other vendors I spoke to said they had a great day, too!  At the end of the day, we all took a group photo together (The vendors) I didn't INTEND to plunk myself front and centre, but here we ARE. lol.
