I attended the Women's Wellness & Self Care Expo in Midland Ontario as a vendor, and it was a great show!
This was the first show that I had attended in the last 3 years, and I was so pleased with the energy that all the folks who came through the doors brought. Everyone was happy to be out, playful, curious - the exact type of folks that I love to work with in my business.

It was held upstairs at the Sports and Rec Centre in Midland, a nice big and bright space.

For this event, I went into it just thinking "I want to have fun, and offer fun today." and that's exactly what the Universe offered.
Normally, I would have offered one on one readings, but instead I created a different offer.
I filled a plastic halloween cauldron with plain white envelopes stuffed with individual tarot cards, and had folks pic a card from the cauldron.
I had set up a paper that explained to folks how to play along, and that it was by TIP - Something I've NEVER done before in an event like this!

The tip cauldron (yes, I do love the Witchy stuff.) is a ceramic cauldron, and folks were dropping coins in there all day. It was hilarious to hear the clink clink clink all day. Although lots of folks stuffed $5 dollar bills in there, too.

I did not stop readings from 10am till about 2:30pm... and that was a pause just long enough to stuff some food in my mouth, and then I did several more readings. The show was supposed to be done at 3pm, but I didn't start breaking down my table till about 3:20pm, as a handful of vendors came over after the show was done to get their OWN reading. (That's always fun when that happens.)

I did a raffle for a Tarot Card from one of my discarded decks (The Druid Craft Tarot - I go through this deck, as I use it as a work horse. I've worked through 3 of them, and I need to buy a 4th really soon.)
And, did a draw for a free email reading from my newsletter.

The day was a huge success. I was so pleased with how the table looked, how it felt to dance behind the table for so many hours (although the next day I was FEELING IT. haha.) and the energy of the room felt so good, too.

The other vendors I spoke to said they had a great day, too!

At the end of the day, we all took a group photo together (The vendors) I didn't  INTEND to plunk myself front and centre, but here we ARE. lol.

Before you get a psychic reading at the Barrie's 3rd Annual Holistic Healing Fair, there are a few ways you should prepare yourself to get the most out of your reading. The event is happening on May 23 and 24, 2020.

I always first suggest that you formulate a question that tells the reader no hints. This is to make sure you get a reading that is really intuitive! I have a full note on how to properly as a psychic your question, with instructions to prepare yourself.

If you can record your reading on your phone or device, be sure to do so. The only issue with big events like the Holistic Healing Fair and recording, is that often there is so much white noise, that it's very hard for a phone to pick up voices and often,  the white noise of so many people and music in a room means it may be difficult for you to be able to really be able to focus on what your reader is saying. (As a reader who has done some of these events, sometimes it's a challenge for the reader to help you to focus, too!)

Try to get there early in the day, if you are going to have a tarot reader by one of the vendors at the Barrie event. (The event is happening at 555 Bayview Drive in Barrie, at the Sadlon Arena.) Getting your psychic half way through the day, or at the end of the day, sometimes can mean that you aren't getting a reader at their best. Tarot reading for many people, one after another, is hard work, and reading while in a big crowd can be exhausting for some readers. If you are paying up to $150 for a 20 minute reading, you want your reader at their best, and to give you the best reading possible.

Make sure you go in with a budget in mind. Ofcourse, there are always moments when you just feel like you connect with a reader and that it won't matter what they are charging. But if you know you only have so much in your budget, it's best that you stick to it! Decide whether it is that you want to buy jewellery or tools for yourself, or if you want a small or long reading on a certain subject. Decide what your budget is, and do you best to stick to it so there'll be no regrets at the end of the show!

Although most readers will have a 10 x 10 booth, or possibly a 10 x 20 booth space, some of those may be in high traffic areas. Lots of people walking by, talking, shopping and browsing. When considering which reader you want to sit with, try to find someone who may not be in such a high traffic area, so the reading has the potential to be a little bit quieter. If you choose a reader that looks like they are at a section that isn't so populated, you may be getting a reader who has also done less readings in a day, and is eager and fresh to read for you.

And most of all, have a fun day!

I have a few clients pre booked in my office in downtown Midland ONTARIO already that day, before I had a chance to fill out the forms for this show. I'm hoping to make an appearance at Brooklea around  my own clients, as there will be fun stuff to purchase at the show, too.

What you should know before getting a psychic reading at the Spirit Show in Midland Ontario:

• Have your questions ready! The more organized you are, the more focused you will be. This will help you make the most of your reading.
• Word your question in a manner that gives the readers NO HINT about what it is that you want to read on. A good tarot reader or psychic reader won't need you to give them any hints or need you to lead them in any way! For some ideas, see this note about HOW TO WORD YOUR QUESTION WELL.
• If you are doing Medium work, and want to talk to someone who has passed over, try not to show the medium any pictures or items from your loved ones. A small ring will give them hints that gramma was a tiny woman. Pictures allow them tell if grampa was a tall man. Also, don't give them any names - it's the Mediums job to tell YOU the details! All you should have to do is hold them in your head and say to the medium "I want to connect with the person who is in my thoughts."
• Take your cell phone and know how to use the record function on it. This will save you money if the readers are selling recordings, and it gives you the option to listen to your reading and review it during a quiet meditative time, instead of during the chaos of an event!
• Ask the reader if they offer a follow up service if you need clarity on the reading they gave you, and if that's included in the price of the days reading.
• Find out what the policy is if the reading you get makes no sense to you or doesn't mean anything to you, or provides no clarity. (if you still have to pay the fee.)

Following this advice will get you your BEST reading from the reader of your choice at this psychic event in Midland On, and will help you feel satisfied that you have connected with a reader who is really tuning in your energies!
