Winter Solstice 2020

I slept through the entire night last night. That rarely happens.

I had vivid and entertaining dreams which seemed to be more for someone else. ( A friend of mine.) I weighed whether I should deliver the dream into the friends inbox at all, while putting the garbage out in the dark of the morning. I shuffled the heavy bins to the end of the driveway, hiding my pajamas under my favourite sweater, crunching thin with my boots.

Back inside, I typed out the dream, for the receivers eyes only. We shared some virtual laughter, and now I feel my day can begin.

The nubs of the wee candles from last nights magic will get dealt with today. The large white candle will get lit again this eve, and more magic made. A very good beginning to winter, indeed.
